Saratoga Festival of Trees, Catholic Charities

June 2013 – Present

Using traditional and digital marketing and PR tactics, I support Catholic Charities’ fundraising goals by driving attendance to the nonprofit’s largest event, the Saratoga Festival of Trees. Each year, I develop a feature story for A Saratoga Christmas, a seasonal magazine, to engage potential event attendees and donors. I also manage all invitations, advertising, media sponsorships, blogger relations, and social media platforms.

Juvenile Diabetes Foundation (JDRF)
One Walk® Corporate and Community Committee

June  2017 – Present

The JDRF One Walk® is a fundraising event held in communities around the country to support finding a cure for type 1 diabetes. As a Corporate and Community Committee member, I am an advocate for the organization as it grows its presence in Upstate New York and am responsible for organizing a fundraising team. For the 2017 walk, I led our team far passed its $1,500 goal, instead raising more than $3,500 for the cause.

Daughters of the American Revolution
Saratoga Springs Chapter

The Daughters of the American Revolution is a lineage-based membership service organization for women who are directly descended from a person involved in the United States’ struggle for independence. As a member, I participate in grassroots volunteer efforts that promote historic preservation, education, and patriotism.

Rebuilding Together Saratoga, 9/11 Memorial Cleanup Team

June 2015 – Present

Each season, I am a part of a small group of dedicated community members in Saratoga Springs who get their hands dirty raking, mulching, planting, and more to clean and maintain the 9/11 memorial and sculpture, Tempered by Memory. 

HubSpot User Group Leader

June 2015 – March 2017

HubSpot User Groups, or HUGs, are industry groups for HubSpot customers, non-customers, and inbound marketing professionals to meet and learn about inbound marketing best practices and the HubSpot software. In June 2015, I launched the Albany Capital Region’s first HUG and served as the leader until March 2017.

Event Coordination: Running quarterly Meetups that included training, workshops, and presentations on inbound marketing for Capital Region marketing executives.

Community Engagement: Organically grew the HUG’s membership from zero to 65 members.

Website Management: Built and managed the HUG website on the HubSpot COS platform.

Nazareth College Alumni Association, Accepted Students Panelist

June 2014 – Present

As an active member of Nazareth College’s Alumni Association, I have been a featured panelist for the college’s Capital Region Accepted Students Night. The panel is an annual event for high school seniors and their parents to meet local alumni like me and ask about our college experiences and the careers they prepared us for.

Saint’s Place of Pittsford

May 2011 – August 2011

As a student at Nazareth College, I joined Saint’s Place of Pittsford’s event committee. Saint’s Place is a nonprofit organization that collects household goods for refugee families arriving in the Rochester, New York area. Each year, they host an annual garage sale as their largest fundraiser and I was responsible for managing PR, email outreach, and donor correspondence.
